Recently Noah Neilson, son of local shaper Tom Neilson, broke his neck.  He is doing okay, but needs help with medical bills.

There will be a surf contest, BBQ, and raffle to raise money for Noah July 17th behind Neilson Surf Shop 3501 S A1A, Cocoa Beach.  The contest starts at 8:00 AM, entry is $25.  So whether you want to surf the contest or just hang out at the beach to support a local in need, plan to attend!  You can pre register at the shop, by making a donation in the amount of the entry fee. Cash or Check (made out to Noah Neilson.) There will also be a pre registration party Friday the 16th at Neilson Surf Shop from 5-8pm  You can also get a raffle ticket for a sweet Neilson longboard at the shop.

"This will be a family event. So bring your family and friends, basically any and everyone you can, to hang out on the beach. We will be raffling off the Longboard as well as a ton of other goodies, including another surfboard, traction pads, leashes, coupons from a lot of local vendors, gift baskets, gift certificates, original artwork, ... "
