Thus....."faith" Having faith a God exists is no different then having faith that one does not. Forcing your faith in an existing God on someone who does not belive, is the same thing as forcing your faith that one does not on someone who does. Atheist are the very embodiment of what the bitch and cry about Christians doing. |

Atheist are the very embodiment of what the bitch and cry about Christians doing. How exactly does an atheist force a belief on you? Atheism isn't a belief anyways, it is a lack of belief. Are you really that threatened and lack that much confidence in your faith that you really think asking for the constitution to be followed is going to hurt you? |

"no way coincidence" is just an annecdote unless the event can be repeated in a way that coincidence can be ruled out. Improbable stuff happens by pure chance all the time and the human brain loves to see patterns that aren't really there and indulge in things like confirmation bias. Never lose sight of the fact that an anecdote is still a real event, and that although probability theory says it can happen, it doesn't say whether it absolutely will in the exact manner it did, why it will, nor anything else about the root cause. Thermodynamics is thermodynamics. It's not anyone's language. Francis Collins wrote a nice book about DNA being the language of God. I'm more apt to go along with that. It's a better story about the evolution of life, and Thermo almost kept me from graduating college. Anyway, Collins and obx can't both be right.
