All, First and foremost, the guy is a stud, pioneer, seemingly good Dad and Husband and would love to hang out with him etc...I even bought his book a while ago. Unfortunately, I couldn't get through it. I'm a Surfer and Workout Guy (obviously not as his level) and was hoping to gain some insight into his routines, motivation, diet etc. Watched his recent appearance JRE Podcast also. Instead, it's a lot of talk about ice baths, weird food/not really food that could sustain an athlete, hocus pocus, snake oil kind of stuff. Guess he's trying to sell product but is it just me? Seriously, not trolling or hating...

I find conversation about ice baths incredibly boring topic as well.

He is just a little TOO perfect. So you don't feel like his advice could ever really apply to you. Plus he will never be anything other than Lance Burkhart. And who could listen to advice from him?

No, seriously, it's just that he doesn't look really human. Gerry Lopez looks like a human - he's aging, has a twinkle in his eye, and looks like someone you could talk to. Hamilton looks like he is just visiting.

I get that feeling, too.

Did you see that 60-Minutes segment on laird about 5 years ago? On top of the Adonis thing, his wife, Gabby Reece mentioned that it's part of their regimine to have sex absolutely every day. That's when I realized I was in a different league.

He, and Dave kalama did the first sailboarding in giant waves at jaws.

Then laird, Dave, and couple other king stud watermen. Like Derrick doerner and others:
Developed the tow in projects. Every one of them was an established, respected paddle in big wave surfer
All of them were bona fide big wave champions anyway. Every last one of has an incredible personal story.

And then diss him for the his open honest champion he he truly is.

Thanks Nuke, for giving Laird a plug. his step-dad, Billy Hamilton is also a first rate guy. Nuke, when Laird wakes up in the morning, he gets to have coffee, with one of the great woman athletes, in the world, not to mention insane looking. The previous comments were made by the typical 2nd Light cheerleaders, who regurgitate minutia, on a regular basis.

Love his products. Laird Super food. Creamer in your coffee is top notch. Even my wife who is very skeptical tried the Cacao creamer and said she felt terrific throughout the day. Personally like the Turmeric. Helps the aching muscles and bones. Laird is a beast, and I do agree a bit much for us regular humans, but I like some of the foods and training philosophy's he promotes.

I dunno, he did pull that guys leash that time...
