Hard to argue with that.

The devil's greatest trick was convincing people he doesn't even exist.

Propaganda doesn't get much more obvious than this, but it still works. I saw a Q sticker on a car today, of course Trump and church stickers too.

it is working. they are manipulating us into impotence from within, maybe into self destruction as a nation. it is telling when the biggest enemy is trumpsters or perhaps progressives depending on your flavor of politics, rather than outside influencers and enemy nations. many are so quick to point fingers at cons for being manipulated and influenced without realizing our side was manipulated just as bad, if not more so. they have been propagating hatred towards our neighbors, raising fear and mistrust, and sewing racial discord.

No, not the Russians. The "Face Book" mentality is the root of all our evils.

What about Facebook do you think is tearing the country apart? As annoying as Facebook and social media has become, with everyone trying to become their own celebrity and going to places/events for the sole purpose of taking selfies to show other people they were there instead of being present, at least you know who you are talking to. Twitter is a complete wasteland and Snapchat is for children and mongoloids.

I think social media is more of a distraction from real life. People are getting addicted to getting "likes" from people they hardly know instead of going outside and living. It's f'ing garbage.

There's far too much uncurated information available to people. A bad actor can easily create a false or misleading narrative that preys on the prejudices of a particular group and manipulate them for foreign purposes.

The purpose is to destabilize the country, and it's working better than they probably imagined it would.

It's funny that the people who deny collusion want to blame Facebook like a fat kid eating ice cream blames the spoon.

dont find that to be true at all. most people i know rightfully blaming the propagation of misinformation, falsities, and sensationalism on social media like facebook are the same exact people the believe there is collusion. usually it is the die hard trumpersters that both deny manipulation and collusion. funny, the trumpsters deny being manipulated and most of the opposition is oblivious to all of it that happens to us.

I'm sure I'm wrong because there is a wealth of stupidity in this country but I can't imagine that anyone decides who to vote for based on what they read on Facebook.

It's used to steer political discourse and shape false perceptions. Immigration became the most discussed issue beginning in 2016, following a decade long trend of declining immigration and increased enforcement, because of their work.

You think it was all Facebook? You don't think it has anything to do with the fact that 13% of our prison population is here illegally? What about the thousands murdered by illegals or the tens of thousands that are sexually assaulted by them each year?

I don't understand how you can know anyone who was murdered or assaulted by an illegal alien without thinking to yourself that it didn't have to happen and could have totally been prevented if our country had only enforced its own laws and border.

Illegal immigration peaked in 2008. You're being played.

I'd like to keep it declining. In fact, I would like it to be 0.

I want us to take all the legal immigrants that we need but our government needs to be in the drivers seat. We need to be able to do what benefits our country, just like every other country does that is worth relocating to. Allowing millions of unskilled, uneducated, people to cross your border whenever they want to is just pure stupidity.

Well thats a bald faced lie as accurate data hasn't been available since 2006.

"Between 10.7 and 11.3 million unauthorized immigrants were living in the U.S. as of 2016, the most recent year for which data is available."

AND...asylum seekers and those waiting for a court date (and disappear) arent counted.
