...from power plants.

Yes, it's bad to breathe, but I wonder what effect it will have on Mercury levels in fish?

Will fish populations be safe for eternity because we turned them toxic?

Jesus?!?! for real?!? Hell, you can barely consume "smoker" kings as it is..... and tuna, and other long living pelagic species.

Can't eat big cobia. Swords are out. Best tasting fish in the world off the menu because they make you mad as a hatter if you eat more than a tiny amount.

I didn't find out about Cobia till I had a 40 lber bagged up in the fridge. Turns out they are one of the worst. The opossums ate well that night.

One of the most successful captains in Brevard can no longer touch fish from our waters due to his glowing complexion.

Why are you not supposed to eat cobia? Is there certain sizes that are ok or certain areas locally that are better than others to eat?

I really wasnt aware of Cobia being merc filled as well, but it makes sense. They live a long time, live close to the coast (hence eating more polluted baitfish) and the biomagnification goes up from there (I'm sure like Kings, the smaller, the safer)....... just so sad because they're prob one of my favorite fish to catch and EAT!

As my pop (god rest his soul) used to say... enjoy what is left cause it ain't gonna get better. He also said what ruined Florida was a/c and bug spray --> too many ppl. I would add Disney World to that list.

NICE! Those are killer little boats. I once refit/restored an OLD 19' Starline for a friend (just like fixing a big surfboard ) You get it new? If I win lotto, I'd love to get the 22

I wish it was new but no way I could afford that. I got a really good deal on it, it's a 2008. The motor had 300 hrs, jack plate and power pole. Just got my ipilot delivered today! Unfortunately I gotta go back to work tmrw, I work in the Gulf of Mexico and won't have time to install it til I get home in a few weeks...hopefully the red tides gone by then. I usually just fish alone or with my girlfriend when she can go, so if anyone ever wants to go fishing hit me up and come along. I need someone to help a brother out lol. Been out 5 times, between mathers bridge to south of 192. And 3 times around the inlet, flats and islands around there and all I've caught are two small trout and a ton of junk fish! I didn't think it was gonna be this difficult lol. I'm sure I'll get it figured out in time

Sounds like a nice little rig. Those ipilots are game changers when fishing alone. I'd take you up on the invite, but I'm up in St. Augustine, and not to familiar with your area (I'm sure some peeps here can help you out) Luckily our inshore waters up here usually get a pretty good douching by our 2 inlets, but inshore I usually just fish artificials. (may catch less fish, but I have more fun... and less junk fish) but that rig can get you off the beach for Tarpon, Kings and other pelagics seasonally when conditions allow (especially down there.... you guys have deeper water close it) Good luck
