Archontophoenix tuckeri, Carpentaria, and Triangle (Dypsis decaryi) suffered cold damage near Vero airport in 2010-11, 26º but came back fine. The barrier island climate south of Patrick is if anything more forgiving. My old Carpentaria, planted about 2005, already has a canopy-height child, which is about ready to shed its first seeds. I need to start potting A. tuckeri seedlings.
