Has anyone tried this place? The menu seems interesting but we usually go to either Fiesta Jalisco or Fiesta Azteca, hesitant to try anything new.

Bueno! They have a cheap lunch sampler meal that's huge for $8.99. The carnitas are good also. Used to go to Jalisco all the time until Locos opened.

Not only is their food on par or BETTER than the other options we have , I would rank their service as Very good to Excellent. Seated quickly, chips & salsa at the table within seconds. Drink order within minutes.....Solid formula: great food, large portions, good price and great service. Plus margarita pitchers < $20 !

yes, the service was excellent
and as stated, chips, salsa and drink order were almost immediate
and my meal was brought out very shortly.

waitress also recommended chicken for the quesadilla as the beef
kind of makes it soggy. great recommendation
and offered a iced tea to go also -

very pleased and left a healthy 40% tip

Mrs. Truck and I headed over there last night for some taco tuesday fun. Unfortunately our waitress was a bit spaced out. Long wait for anyone to take our drink order, then even longer wait to get it.
Food actually came before my beer, which might have been a show stopper except the 3 tacos for $5 were very good and I can't argue with $2 Negra Modelo.
Wife had veggie fajitas which were very good also.

I think we just got the stoner waitress, so I'm going to go back and give the service another try. Maybe order a beer and the bar and THEN get a table.

Pretty generic, not that good or bad. I think Jalisco is a good bit better.

My wife and I ate there Fri. Mediocre at best. That said, I was happy to see the place packed, good for them, but, there are others I like much better.

I had it. Its 5/10 maybe if you were 100% drunk it would be somewhat good.

if you want good mexican food go to Croton / Aurora the mexican convenient store with the food truck

La Preferida. It's the best Mexican food around. Ambience is lacking for a date, unless you have picked the right girl. My wife and daughter love it.
