The difference is that in the 2016 election, the Democrats crossed over from character assassination of their political opponents to criminalizing the opposition. They want their opponents gone and they are willing to lie, cheat, and steal to make that happen. What happened with the Hilary Clinton campaign, the law firm she funneled the money through, Fusion GPS, the Steele dossier, our FISA courts, the listening to Trump campaign phone calls, implanting spies in his campaign, and the Mueller investigation should go down as the biggest scandal in the history of American politics and should be a huge black eye on the Democrats. This should concern everyone. This is scary shit that happens in a lot of hell-hole countries but it shouldn't happen here.

The Democrats forced Trump to release the transcript of the conversation and the conversation included some things that could damage the relationship between Ukraine and Germany plus several other countries.
