If Brevard is around 5 hours out from anything showing on the 41010 then the morning and early afternoon are still shot at this point as of 8:00am:
Significant Wave Height (WVHT): 2.3 ft 5-day plot - Swell Height Swell Height (SwH): 1.3 ft 5-day plot - Swell Period Swell Period (SwP): 9.1 sec 5-day plot - Swell Direction Swell Direction (SwD): ENE Just have to wait to see the first signs of what's hitting the 41047 starting to filter through: Significant Wave Height (WVHT): 6.9 ft 5-day plot - Swell Height Swell Height (SwH): 6.9 ft 5-day plot - Swell Period Swell Period (SwP): 12.9 sec 5-day plot - Swell Direction Swell Direction (SwD): E |

There was some debate out there as to whether what we saw today was the peak of it all.
Looks like the 41009 leveled off around 3' so far. A few 3.6's and then back to 3.0: Significant Wave Height (WVHT): 3.0 ft 5-day plot - Swell Height Swell Height (SwH): 3.0 ft 5-day plot - Swell Period Swell Period (SwP): 14.8 sec 5-day plot - Swell Direction Swell Direction (SwD): ESE Dawn Patrol tomorrow could be the winning ticket, as least the nearer shore ba ba booey's are up higher this evening than last. 41010: Significant Wave Height (WVHT): 4.9 ft 5-day plot - Swell Height Swell Height (SwH): 4.9 ft 5-day plot - Swell Period Swell Period (SwP): 12.9 sec 5-day plot - Swell Direction Swell Direction (SwD): ENE Have to see if any of that 4 and 5' will trickle in closer to shore by morning. Although further out past the Bahamas the 41047 has already peaked and receded from 12:00 am to 11:00 pm starting at 5.9 @ 14.8, peaking at 9.8 @ 12.1 at 8:00 am, and then gradually tapering down to: Significant Wave Height (WVHT): 3.9 ft 5-day plot - Swell Height Swell Height (SwH): 3.3 ft 5-day plot - Swell Period Swell Period (SwP): 10.0 sec 5-day plot - Swell Direction Swell Direction (SwD): E ...this evening. So the end of the "line," of the shrEdouard swell, so to speak, is marching it's way westward from buoy to booey.... |

Well, if there was any question as to where all of south Florida was at - either RC's or the Jetty - here's a pic that sheds a little insight as to the crowned reigning champion of who attracts the most kooks from the most southern reaches:

North Jetty was even crowded for the before hours pass only crowd. And it didn't really pick up the swell. Ridiculous. ------------------------- Replace turf grass with native plants that don't need irrigation and synthetic fertilizers or chemicals that can go into our waterways and ocean |
