Dreamy!  I'd like to see some wipeouts from that angle.  I'd like to see how close they really come to the reef.  I know plenty of people hit the reef but I'd be interested to see how close the average wipeout comes.

cool perspective and chaotic underwater fluid dynamics when all that energy hits the reef and folds over... I'd be interested in some footage that captures the sub-surface anatomy of a 30+ second hold down at some of the big wave spots.  

anyone doing that yet?
