Does anyone here know how I could get in touch with the elusive Joe Johnson?

I wish I could help you out, but out surfing not more than a month ago his name came up and someone said he is still in Brevard.

I was hoping to hear more details myself.

He made me 3 or 4 great boards when he was with QF.

I second that. His "goods" model was my magic board for a good (haha) while.

He is still here, I saw him slashing it up in CCB on the day of the Christmas parade...he also spends a lot of time racing around on his kite board.

He has a local shaping room, but sorry to say I don't have his contact number anymore.

I had a lightwave back in 90 or 91. Loved that board till I snapped it clean in half surfing shorepound at bicentinnial park!

I see him all the time checking the surf at the end of my street --------hes got a small shaping bay across the street from ETs Ding Repair where the old lamp factory used to be at 1st street North and Woodland. ( Bills still making boards out in Cali....)

It's all good guys -I had a chat with him this morning. Apparently he's got some interesting stuff in the works.
