ww Posts: 16096 Joined Forum: 08/17/2007	Air fare to Barbados is probably is close to the cost to Honolulu, a bit under $700.. San Juan can be around $300 on JetBlue. San José del Cabo low as $331 on American. Lufthansa is offering astonishing low prices to Johannesburg, but there's no surf there. Cape Town in August $1100. Lima $462 on Copa, but I wonder about water pollution.

ww Posts: 16096 Joined Forum: 08/17/2007	Auckland and Christchurch a bit over $1400, almost exactly double Honolulu or Maui. But Muriwai, Piha, and Raglan are almost guaranteed surf. I wish there were still $200 fares to the US Pacific coast, though there's been some great recent opportunities to visit San Diego for $300 or so on short notice (SWA).
