I love the way he flaps his arm, like he has some kind of control or something

Yeah, I read a story about him and he somehow made it through unscathed.

I wonder if balling up would help. God, I would hate to know that I was about to get chewed up by that thing.

That hurt my feelings. I don't know how the human body could survive that thrashing.

I might be wrong, but I think I read that the surfer is a girl.

Nope its a dude. He said after he fell he thought he was swimming through the wave and he felt one arm in the water and the other arm was out. For a milli-second he thought he had made it, then he realized he was in the lip, going over the falls. I cant imagine what that felt like, what an awesome freakin wave. On my bucket list, I want to sit in the channel during a "code red" swell. I have no desire to ride it, just want to sit in the channel, while the wave spits in my face.

What? Really? I missed it? Oh..I should have been here yesterday!

I read that he actually got back on the ski a little bit afterwards and got a couple more, including another pounding..

The female surfer was Keala Kennelly

You may remember she almost had her face torn off by that wave (literally) a few years back.

She eventually confronted Teahupoo again

you can see that here..
