The 31st Annual NKF Rich Salick Pro-Am Surf Festival (September 2-5, 2016) is one of the LARGEST surfing charity competition in the world! It's held at The Cocoa Beach Pier, featuring Professional & Amateur Surfing Competitions, Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP), Tandem, Skateboard, Entertainment, Family Fun & Volunteering. ALL proceeds go to the NKF of Florida to support programs in patient services, research, public & professional education & organ donation. The festival also strives to increase awareness of kidney disease w/ an emphasis on prevention & support for organ donation. Kidney disease kills over 90,000 Americans every year - more than breast & prostate cancer combined! 1 in 3 American adults have kidney disease & most don't know it. We are looking for volunteers, sponsors & donations to raise money to HELP SAVE LIVES! Aloha & God Bless ~ Hope To See You @ Da Beach \m/ AlohaFL 
We are still in need of donations, gift cards, sponsors & volunteers for the Silent Auction. Items can be dropped off at the CB Pier office this week Mon-Frid 9am-5pm, James or someone will be in the office; otherwise make sure when you drop off your donations/gifts please attach the contribution forms to it and you can use this for a tax deduction ~ mahalo 
Registration Party is Friday ~ Sept 2, 2016 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm Location: Westgate Resorts Cocoa Beach Pier - Keith's Oyster Bar Description: Competitors and spectators welcome. Registration opens for all competitors until 8:00 pm NOTE: NKF Team Competition will have it's own event. It will be held Thanksgiving weekend at Coconuts On The Beach, more details to follow .... VOLUNTEERS needed to help Set Up & BREAK Down the scaffolding, Mahalo & God Bless \m/ 
NOTE: some updates on below schedule 1) Saturday night event: NKF Luau & Surf Movie by NPI Production NKF Luau 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm $10 donation Only 300 tickets will be sold to avoid running out of food ~ your donation inclues 2 meat choices (Ahi Poke sponsored by Grills Seafood, pull pork or chicken) plus sides will be served. Entertainment by Brevard Hawaiian Dancers, Inc & friends 8:30 pm - 10:30 pm Surf Movie Night Premier Surf Movie by NPI Productions of their Costa Rica trip with Ron Jons team riders 2) update on Taste of Brevard, as of right now we have 29 restaurants & it could be more, $35 donation at the door

Beach registration will also be open at 7:00 am on Saturday, September 3rd and Sunday, September 4th. what time does the men's masters start? really don't feel like waking up early to sit around for like 4 hours. anyone know the actual start times? also it looked flat today waves tomorrow for the contest?
