The tide was too deep. Even the stand up paddlers were struggling catching them. However, the surf has potential. There is a long period swell on the buoys. Check it at lower tide. If the wind stays blowing offshore it should be fun.

Water felt good and glad I paddled out for some exercise. Beautiful sunrise, but wait for low tide.

LOL. Seems like it! There was an occasional set that had some size to it. But, the tide was just way too deep. Even at 2ndlight which is normally a good high tide break.

I bet it gets good though at low. Good luck if you can get it...me, off to workee, workee...

~2.5 ft at 12 secs ...have to look at Swell Height to understand the primary swell size and period, as opposed to the sum wave height.

Sounds like there needs to be a refresher course of buoy reading

Weird reporting intervals on the 20 miler. If it was the instruments I work with, I'd be looking for a problem.

It's 4.9 at 7 seconds; seems like there is more swell headed out than headed in.

I was right.

Regardless, seeing some fun ones start to roll in. Out the door once I finish a bit of work.

Just got out for some food. Low tide killing it some at the moment but mid tide earlier was pretty darn good. Couple cover ups and multi turn long walls. Tide push should be fun. Some size on the sets

Walton Rocks rocked. Lots of fun, good size, super clean and the mushiness didn't matter because I rode the log. Great fun.
