The Curse of the Col?

It does seem like he got jinxed, after arguing on social media

I had fractured metatarsal before and it took a while to regain full mobility.

I thank him for the good-natured x-ray reveal.

I had a mere swollen foot a year or so ago.  Couldn't find anything wrong on the x-ray, forget whether other scanning was tried.  It went away after a while.  The stupid thing was surprisingly disabling.

Yup SV told him to quit riding those 'lil gay things'

Naaaa. He'll heal and be back in time for Trestles. I'm calling a Win out and greatest comeback of all time. Kelly is a fighter, straight up.

I broke my fibula and tibia years ago. The fibula was broken clean through like Ke11y's #3 and #4 metatarsals appear to be.

I'm no orthopedic doctor, but I knew that was a much longer healing time than 6 weeks.

I also had a hairline metatarsal fracture and that thing hurt for months.

I like what he said how many people have suffered much worse, so he was thankful it was only what it was.

Best wishes to his recovery.

The one plus is that the rest of his body can recover along with the foot.

And SV, you had nothing to do with this. The ocean is a bad-ass, plain and simple.

I have to agree that Kelly has been surfing the wrong boards.  Or better said. He should go back to Merrick or more classic design that works
