Surprised how little attention this has received lately but has anyone actually SUP'd, Paddled out etc. to look at the boondoogle reefs that were installed in Satty? Before, after, during, 'cane season, etc.  Seems like someone would have freedove with a GoPro to take footage...never seen any.  I am game , have Go Pro but no SUP and would need a partner to secure my LB, "IF I COULD EVEN FIND THEM" since the 'Canes and NE winds.  They are coming S. to my home break next year, really interested if they even are still above sand, holding any fish, etc.

.

Have GO-Pro, full suit, mask and too much time....any takers for a recon?....PM me...visibility may be good next few days. So surprised no one has footage of what it may look like (if they even exist anymore).

Would at least be an educational adventure on such a sad subject...inquiring minds want to know.   Maybe it is too deep to freedive?

I though this might be about the concrete aggregate like "sand" they are about to start covering our beaches with.

I dove on it before the hurricane and have to say I was quite impressed with what they had built. I have the gopro documentation also. I have been waiting for a good day to get on it again, but clear water in Satellite beach is pretty rare.

I'm totally into it, I have SUP, Kayak, Hell Ill swim you out if you need it, I wanna check it out too!

Thing is Low tide brings cloudy water, so we gotta catch a high tide with clean water with a little eddy from the gulf pulling in usually in summer this happenes

Viz in Satellite sucks but I have seen the bottom several times in 6-8 feet of water
