Here is the history lesson: It was simply The Folly Forum and they shut down which drove Manimal, Lumpster, and Win Dog and a few others to our site which resulted in the famous battle. Myself and my buddies...and their aliases...Chupacabra, Island Kid, Robert Dance, Rev., Braz Nut, Doodle, and on and on...pacified the herd but also suffered far to many bannings and then left here and formed The B.I.G. forum. Which also died out. The end. ------------------------- My parents went to Cocoa Beach and all I got was this lousy surfboard! |

A few of us made some posts that really stirred the pot and one of the worst was because we were trying to rag on a friend. But it did help bring out some posts by Robert Dance, the local gay surfing activist. Sadly I also remember ruining the day of a few thin skinned forum types such as when we posted pics of whale massacres on a post created by a person who fancied themselves as a animal activist. But it was the Friday booty posts that really created some issues due to their place of origin. Fun times! With fun people. And fun forum parties! ------------------------- My parents went to Cocoa Beach and all I got was this lousy surfboard! |

Bring back BIG!! I live down the street from Island Kid & I see clamdigger at the gym regularly. I've seen chupa surfing a few times around the 32937. My favorite was the TGIF (phat booty) threads...

That is cool that you still see those guys, SpinK! I have not seen any of them since we all kind of disbanded. I do talk with Braz-nut. We worked together way before any of the craziness happened. He is a pet grooming hippie living in Colorado now. A pint sized Grizzly Adams. The BIG forum was kind of interesting. It sounded planned with the cool name but it was created off a non-surf related business page for Barrier Island Graphics (BIG). I still have (and wear) my BIGgles t-shirt! It's lasted this long 'cause it is black and black is too hot to wear in the summer months.
