I wouldn't want to try to keep wax on that black carbon fiber,
especially in Florida.

Luckily there weren't any longboards.
Thats the reason I don't have a Tesla,...
... can't carry a longboard inside.

pretty sure it's "Black Dart".... blend of carbon an S cloth fiberglass Not that the people who prebooked these things are going to actually surf on them anyway

They were all built by a Florida shaper, possibly ghost shaped by him too. Stoked to see local board builders kept busy at $1500 a pop for 200 boards. I'm sure any shaper would be stoked to have an order like that.

It launched last night, on their website, with no fan fare, offering 200 limited edition Surfboards. The boards are exact replicas of my favorite personal board, a 6'8" #ElPatron' which I've been surfing in Indo, Fiji, and Mexico, the last couple months. The difference being built in #BlackDartTechnology. Stringer-less eps, glassed With Carbon Fiber and epoxy. The matte/gloss logo treatments are then finished in house @teslamotors by the same crew that paints all the cars. A true collab. All 200 boards sold out in the first 18 hours. Today was a good day. Thanks to @mbarker77 @rightfoot4ward and @inspiredshaper for putting up with me on this project.
