In which random people measure the distance from the wrack line to the dune vegetation...

Before I run out and measure this, maybe a little background as to why and what this is for? There are two distinct wrack lines at my beach ( well yesterday that is after the tide backed out), I assume you want to one closest to the vegetation? The original vegetation or the the new stuff still growing in from the plantings? Oh you might want to tell people what a wrack line is too, I am betting many people don't even know what that is.

Yep, had to look it up. Our vegetation is varied too. Take several measurements and average them. ------------------------- I was right. Edited: 10/02/2018 at 05:13 AM by Cole |

I'd say shortest distance at a given street.
Wrack line: the line of seaweed deposited on the beach by the most recent high tide. Contour approximates the flow and shape of the set waves. ------------------------- "It's always better than it looks from the crossover." |

2ndlighters caught above wrack line are in violation of the latest FL cluster ordinance regarding property owners rights and shorelines.
