The girlfriend has a Prius V wagon. I wanted to get her roof racks to carry longboards as a gift. Only thing is looking at the car the window clip racks look like they would be too close together. Has anyone gott wn racks for their Prius Wagon? Will a roof rail need to be installed or did tge window clip ones seem to be okay for longboards?

I had a 2013 Prius V wagon and had a set of Thule racks on them. They worked great. Often had two boards up there, 1 short and 1 longboard. I took them off when I traded the car in but still have the racks. If you're interested you can have them as they just sit in my garage getting dusty. They Wont fit on my new truck. If not, I bought them at the Longboard House but I'm not sure if they still sell them. You can also go to their website to order them.

I have a 2011 Prius that needs racks.

I've got Thule racks on a 2014 Prius V that work great! At the time, they were the only ones that I could find that fit the car. I did notice that the gas mileage did drop about 1 to 2 mpg after i put them on. Other than that, no complaints.
