Old and Slow can be stylish if you eliminate the jerky part. Heading out into this beautiful world in search of wild waves, wonderful women, and my golf ball.

So that what, about a 900 foot breaking wave?

This is very unusual to have a multiday West wind , it should start clocking around to the north soon enough which will put Kahuku area back onshore but the west side offshore . I'd love to see Makaha when that cleans up .

Snow as low as 6,200 feet, lowest ever seen on Maui. Wind gusts up to 160 mph or more at Mauna Kea summit. Of course that's very thin air (above 13,000 feet) so it doesn't have quite the umph)
On the side, California may be in line for another major rain. I think I better swallow my concerns about plane ticket costs and lack of time and go visit the wildlflowers.

Sydney's Eugene Tan (Aquabumps) is in Hawaii, hiding mostlhy on the sheltered side, marveling at the protective effect of big volcanoes.
