The song remains the same.....

So if you are a surfer I wish you the prosperity that allows you more time to pursue the salt water dream, and the true happiness that comes from warm water, clean waves and the companionship of your fellow surfers. If you are an internet troll just spewing bs then f off.

some optimism from surfline:

We are watching a couple areas of interest for the coming week and we may finally break out of our swell drought, even if only for a brief spell. The first chance is a low pressure system originating out of the southern Plains and tracking through the Great Lakes region. This is expected to set up southerly swell as we move towards the weekend. While nothing huge, it will likely be enough for some really fun surf at key spots on the East Coast.
As that round develops, computer models continue to suggest that we will see a central Atlantic low take shape on Thursday. There is pretty good agreement between major models that the low will produce gale-force winds before winding down over the weekend. While not expected to produce a big swell, this should be good enough to deliver at least a fun sized shot of swell to Florida and portions of the Caribbean. The rest of the U.S. East Coast sees a smaller taste of the swell in the extended range as well.
Be sure to follow your forecast through the week for the latest updates on the next rounds of surf for your area -- and check the Caribbean forecasts too, isn't it about time for your Spring Break trip?

Tue update: Surf comes up for Wednesday and second half of the week but onshore winds likely
Watching low pressure in Central Atlantic later this week for swell down the road

...and then we have the bottom to deal with.

Dear Huey, what did we do to anger you and how can we fix it?
