Went and checked this morning, tides kinda high, but I actually saw a wave break and roll all the way in. Been a while since I saw that phenomenon Gonna be fun throughout the day

So fun. Bigger than expected. Beautiful day and packed beaches. Had to hurry to get changed and head back to work, well-known local shaper was waiting on me for a parking spot

Let me just point out that this thread is directly above the "worst winter ever" thread.

This has been a TERRIBLE winter... and yesterday was the vernal equinox.

well.... headed to the Park with visions of EPICNESS dancing in my head (based on this morn) .....ehhh..... fun waves but HAMMERED by howling offshores (and fighting a minus outgoing tide.. got better on the tide turn, but wind increased more).... Considering how bad this winter has been (and me barely surfing for multiple reasons) I still surfed all day (prob 6 hrs in the water) .... not what i hoped, but happy to be sore and a bit sunburnt (yes I wore sunscreen on the few parts not covered with neoprene are going down easy.... hopefully swell left in the morn (will be bigger down by you guys)

Was pumping before dark during near dead high this evening. Will it break tomorrowing morning dead high with the drop in swell height? Or will it be fun higtide walls? Thoughts?

I don't think so, except the high tide spots maybe but long period makes that a close out fest usually. Buoys still up and tides dropping and with the full moon there's enough light to surf!

Cocoa beach was breaking 200 yards out this evening. I didn't even know it was high tide.

moving slow this morn. lowerback is stiff / sore as hell (6 hours of surfing after barely surfing all winter)...... prob a good thing I passed on the north shore this winter or I wouldve drowned Seems to be quite a bit smaller up here today (and cold) so I'm taking my time (incoming tide should help), and having breakfast...... should be bigger down by you guys. Have fun. Prob just 1 quick session for me today. need to work some after playing hookey yesterday
