I can't believe you'd go all the way to Colorado and Carolina - an not even surf. What a KOOK!

Names we will see on the National team in the future?

Just got back Saturday from a two weeker. I surfed: Grande- main peak and north end by rocks. Avellanas-river mouth and little Hawaii Playa Negra Marbella Tamarindo-behind Capt. Suizo Then we drove in the middle of the night to Cabo Matapalo surfed: Pan dulce and Playa Matapalo The first day at Grande was 10 ft face wedges by the rocks at the north end. It was not pretty, like I had to learn to surf again. Its been a year at least . day two and on I surfed much better. I got lots of pic but posting them is another story.

I'm glad you had a good time. Costa Rica still has a lot to offer for surfers for all experience levels. You just have to know where to go and that's where I can help. PM me if you need advice for your next surf trip.

Easter used to be the beginning of the rainy season. Towards the end of my travels there in 05, people were concerned about drought.
