They were a Bruce Ragan design.

I never had one but new several people that did .... they all loved them as a Centro America travel board.

It's probably from the 2000's shaped by Joey Maus. When Manny stopped shaping Illusion's, Larry Mayo shaped them for a while then Phil Salick and Joey Maus. Joey signed the Illusion's he shaped but I don't think he signed the QF's at first.

My current QF is 57,170, so that one goes back aways.

Andy is right, Bruce signs all of his, so it was a ghost.

57,000, that's a butt load of hand shaped boards.

I rented the Leasure Bros & Regis Jupinko time in the shaping room of the old Cocoa Beach Sure Shop back in the Mid 70's ..... when they first getting their gig off the ground.

The Leasure's were still fresh from Maryland (if I remember correctly) and Jupinko was still not sure if he should wax the bottom or deck of a surfboard. I would say it worked out ok for everyone.

Ed lives part time at Isleworth and part time in California. Jim still runs the factory and golfs with Richard from the old Hammond Jewelers when they have time. Both look happy as clams.
