Unfortunately people are set on buying cheap disposable crap....and the whole Firewire thing: made in Thailand, sold at domestic built prices so they can have such high margins, allowing them to have their boards on consignment, crushing domestic built boards (who cant afford to have 2 dozen boards sitting in a shop without getting paid)........ Even If you don't support your local shaper, AT LEAST ride boards made by someone who actually surfs!
