Out of control surf in Nags Head the last two days but we had a good run on Tuesday with chunky conditions for the competitors.

We still have 20-30+mph winds but is easing off now and the swell is really supposed to jump up later today into tonight. Its looking like tomorrow may be our first opportunity to get started again but Saturday morning has the potential for pumping surf and offshore winds so stay tuned.

Thanks!! I was up there vacationing for a big swell Easterns and while it was breaking about two Frisco piers outside for a few days Frisco campground was a super sick left and offshore.

Well that doesn't look anything like the Jennette's pier that I remember. But then 2003 was the last time I set foot on the Outer Banks, for Fabian swell. Froze my ass off in upwelled water in Salvo, then the wind switched to north and we headed to Frisco and the water was almost 80 degrees there and the north wind was grooming the ESE swell into awesomeness.

Went down to Frisco yesterday and it was far from perfect but already starting to clean up! I can imagine that place gets insane when its on. Hoping the pier starts to do its thing on Saturday before I head back!
