Reef road was all time. Seriously good. Three hours. Four waves. Bombs.

RR was all time, (Delray was really good as well)...PM session at RR; we helped a guy who was bloody (rail cracked him in his head) yelling for help in the mid/shore break...we got to him and brought him to shore. He was seeing stars , could not swim and eventually collapsed on the beach. the crowd assisted w/ medical..I walked back to the Cove for a dry hair paddle...as I worked back into the main peak a wave swung wide and came right to me...Drop in ..Long, clean, multi-section barrel, was cool to see and HEAR the next section as it threw way over my head and unlike most barrels in FL, it gave me an open, clean exit...best barrel I have had in FL in a long time....Karma..thank you.

Nice. Thanks for helping the distressed Surfer. That is karma you got a good wave after.

If anyone has links to vids/photos. Post up.

Also, we gotta name this swell so we can remember it.

My son surfed Reef Road from 8 until 2- 6 hours yesterday. He drove down from UF and stayed with friends who live in Jupiter. He called it DOH and fantastic waves. And the paddle out along the jetty was easy. Stoked for him. His first experience surfing south FL. I'm sure it will be one of those remember forever experiences.

Should add , maybe a few got lucky but myself and every other car I saw had parking tickets..$60.00. I tried the "hey I am back, I'll move it quickly" but the officer was not having it. He said the fine will be going up soon, my guess $100.00 parking ticket in the future. Checked all the spots and side streets used by surfers...Everyone had tickets on their windshield, I thought I had a safe spot...nope, they know them all, he said most were lucky as they got to ticket enforcement a bit late in the day but he assured me next time they are starting early and getting everyone..cha-ching..Getting too expensive in parking tickets to go back.

Zach and his budds arrived in a panel van. Pulled it into a construction site to camouflage it among the work vehicles. Don't know if it worked. Maybe you saw him SurferMic. He was riding his CI Wierdo Ripper.

Wow. 60! Back in the 80s it was only 25 bucks. I got a ticket once, paid it, but kept the ticket and used it for subsequent visits. I would just put the ticket on my windshield and it worked. The meter maids thought I already had a ticket for the day so left my car there. I eventually lost the ticket. But, it did work!

Daner....I would recognize you from our sessions down in IRL but did not notice a Daner Jr. Barely remember him from SI sessions in the past. BTW - I would not park at any construction site, the foreman knows all the crews vehicles, even if it looks not active, they could show at any time. You will not get a parking ticket...You will get towed!!! Seen it happen...imagine coming back from your session, cold in a full suit and your car is gone (towed)...Now what? beg to borrow a phone, call taxi, wait...drive to tow yard, still dripping wet, Taxi mad you are wet w/ a surfboard and may not give you a ride. Then, how to pay taxi? wallet's in the tow yard...explain to yard , maybe they will let you get your wallet as they want a large sum $$$ as well, to release your car. if you hid you keys...are they still there or did they shake loose and fall out in transit?....No Bueno! I'll take the parking ticket.

You are probably right but you know kids. I'll ask him about his experience with the parking.

Zach called had another epic sess in Jupiter. No ticket or tow yesterday so they lucked out all the way around.

PB ticket patrol are pricks. 3W and I used to take turns driving/getting tickets, because if you get so many in a year they boot your car (even if you pay them).

^^uh-oh, how many tickets before they boot your car? It is just too much $ and trouble to surf there when other places are on the EPIC scale. Guess I can google the question...Yikes!!! ...Boots: $350 in both residential and commercial areas. You can fly to Central Am. for the cost of that!

Surfed next to Tab Texter. He was way on the outside and very patient. He caught a bomb every bit of double overhead and took for what seemed like a mile, and in reality may actually have been very close to that. He finally made it back out almost an hour later to the cove and I asked just how long was that left; "I got out at south beach and had a scone and some coffee."
