Those are beautiful shots, and I'm so happy you finally found waves? So when are you coming home?

Glad you caught it nice. I have been in So Cal for 6 weeks, wetsuit still in it's bag. Gotta love morning glass and good vibe in the water. I have found surf about 5 days a week . Only libs are allowed to visit here though.

When in Encinitas you must stop and eat at "La Especial Norte". Family Mexican. The tortila soup is over the top.

Don't mention La Especial Norte.  It makes me homesick.  For a better Mexican treat, hit La Kotija on the corner of 101 and Leucadia Blvd. in Leucadia.

For a gut-wrenching experience, eat at Capn' Kenos on 101 (across and a little down from Encinitas Surfboards).  It's cheap and greasy.  It'll clear you out for sure.

Don't forget those really early Dawn Patrol barrels at D-Street.  That place gets hollow at any tide and at any size, from one foot to ten.
