Come out and show your suport for Jacob Torres a fellow surfer, who nearly drowned surfing Reef Road 12-22-07. Although our friend is getting better each day, he still needs our help to get through this.
Where: Mother Tuckers-658 N 2nd St Ft. Pierce, Fl 34950 next to Captains Galley by the South Beach Bridge.
When: Saturday, Jan. 5th
Time: 1pm til you showed enough support
Donations: $10 per person this includes 1(one) raffle ticket for prizen to be givn away. Plenty of surf accessories are going to be given out.
3+ surfboards are going to be auctioned off, so if you need a new stick this is the place.

Yes 2 of my buddies went down there wednesday he was talking and walking around a little bit.

It would be nice to set something up at the O"neill contest. I'll see if I can figure something out.
If you know of someone who would be willing to put up a jar for donations I'll be glad to monitor
it while I'm there. Who is in the contest from Ft. Pierce?

I dont think anyone from the fort pierce area but im sure there are kids from vero that are going to be in it. Mama G if you wouldnt mind monitoring a jar for donations that would be greatly appreciated. send me a pm and we will figure something out.

UPDATE!!!
Jacob is officially up, both talking and walking!!
I was pretty surprised when I answered his girlfriends incoming phone call to hear his voice! He sounds great!!! He was so excited to say, "My visiting hours are from 9am til 5pm now, come see me!" It is apparent now that was no brain damage!!! Thanks so much to those who kept him hanging on because now he's back!!! WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
