THE RIDE
At 10 A.M. on Saturday October 9th, over 100 participating Trek dealers across the country will join together to raise awarness for Breast Cancer reasearch, treament and prevention by hosing a 10 and 25 mile casual, family friendly, no drop bike ride.

At 10 A.M. on Saturday October 9th, over 100 participating Trek dealers across the country will join together to raise awarness for Breast Cancer reasearch, treament and prevention by hosing a 10 and 25 mile casual, family friendly, no drop bike ride.
INFORMATION
WHERE: Bob's Bicycle Shop in Indian Harbour Beach
WHEN: October 9th, 2010 at 10 A.M. Registration starts at 9 A.M.
WHAT: 10 or 25 mile, casual ride (no drop)
COST: $25 Dollars. 100% of the registration fees will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Kids 12 & under ride free
REGISTRATION
Register at Bob's Bicycle Shop or online.
PURPOSE
Raise public awareness and fund breast cancer research in an effort to achieve prevention and a cure for breast cancer in our lifetime. All registration fees are donated directly to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation

we have a Candle light ceromony that has grown to over 450 candles. Good on those who particiapte in your location, keep it going!

I don't have access to a course map right now. Pretty easy routes up Tropical Trail and it will be a great time. 

They are also looking for some volunteers  to man/woman the water/food stations.

My mother died of breast cancer.  Sad stuff.

Oops, I didn't elaborate.  She could have been saved had she been seeing a doctor regularly and getting regular checks.  She went six years without stepping into a doctor's office, and by the time they found it....too late.

That's what I meant.

Then shouldn't this be a ride to save the testicles?
25 miles on a hard bike seat is a strange way to do that.

Cancer -- you've got to catch it early.

I'm hoping to do this Sunday's ride.
