Interesting article about Ryan Tannehill

Also the deep ball project which breaks down deep pass accuracy nicely.

Scroll down to Ryan Tannehill for explanation for his A grade. 4th in league on throws > 15 yards. 2nd in league on throws > 20 yards. SO much for not being an accurate deep passer. Please note I did say much of the problem in the past was due to their deep threat sucking at adjusting to the ball. Mike Wallace was fast, but was horrible at it and had alligator arms. Kenny Stills is much much better.

Deep Ball Project

It is worth mentioning that Blake Bortles was rated a F minus.

yes, saw that. thanks. I hope they draft defense every round. We could use some more O line. But we need every position on defense. Waiting to see the schedule to plot out if I go season tix or single game.

The fins really need to lock up Landry for the long term. I know he has one year left on his rookie contract, but he needs to stay a Fin for his career. He is the heart and soul of our offense.

And he is pretty good too

I wonder if we will get lucky and have another draft pick fall to us that shouldn't..... namely a 1st tier LBer.

Well Foster was there for the Fins to pick and they passed. Guess the injury and character concerns were too much of a risk.

Harris is a pass rusher in the mold of Cam Wake in both explosiveness and technique. I suspect the pick was made for that very reason. Cam has a couple of years left barring injury because of his age, despite being a physical freak of nature.... this makes sense. If Cam can mold this guy into even 75% of what he is, it is worthy of a first round pick.

DE, LB, CB for the first three picks.

Defense defense defense... now a serviceable guard and I will consider this a successful draft.

Wow Asiata at Guard in the 5th. Way underrated, surprised he was still there, and a perfect fit in our system. Geesh, that is a win.

Dude is a brawler and nasty as hell. He gets some more technique down and wins the start by game 1 and Ajayi going to go for 1500 behind him this year. Strong as hell too, he repped 35x @ 225 at the combine.

Draft press conference, Fins GM said Asiata on the field is ...and I directly quote: "A nasty prick"

Exactly what you want a Guard to be. I like it.
