Interesting article about using machine learning/ artificial intelligence to classify moles, identify melanoma more accurately than experienced dermatologists:

If you are reading this post and have concerns about having skin cancer, please
disregard all of the suggestions for treatment. See a doctor, consider his/her opinion,
ask questions.

By taking online advice you risk your health. For clarity, the link about bloodroot is not
a study. It's a brief explanation. The article itself says "S. canadensis cancer salves
have a controversial history and have never been assessed in a clinical trial."
Meaning: it has never been shown to work and we know very little about the risks.

Basal and squamous cell carcinoma are rarely dangerous when treated. Melanoma, on
the other hand, is a terrible cancer, even when treated.

That is why you may hear about good results when basal and squamous cell skin
cancers are treated with BS remedies. They were likely going to be ok either way.

That is also why you hear about terrible outcomes even when melanoma is properly
treated. Those poor souls were likely fighting a disease that was going to prove
terminal.

I rarely post, but I was concerned that some one in our sun-drenched surf community
may read this thread and forgo proper medical treatment that may spare them and
their family a lot of heartache. If you are one of those people, please see a doctor.

To the people like JB surf, your internet research does not qualify you to give medical
advice willy nilly over the internet. Full disclosure, I am an MD, but not a
dermatologist. I can tell you the link you posted is absurd and so full of holes that if
you are unable to recognize them then you shouldn't even be talking about this subject.
You can hurt some one.

Edit: not sure why it shows up with no spaces between paragraphs
