The Dragon capsule is on its way to the ISS, but...

For the booster return: the pump that controls one of the grid fins failed, putting the booster into a slight spin. This put it off course of its planned Pad landing.

The failure was a success, we may use it for an internal mission.... I am glad I am not a rocket scientist.

Got to watch this launch from the viewing area behind the gate of the 45th Space Wing- it was pretty wild watching that booster come back down.

It was spinning around like the bone from 2001 and I was thinking to myself "do they always do that on the way down? because I had never seen it so close.

Then they started firing the engine and it was pretty impressive that it was able to stabilize itself from that and level out. In fact, it looked pretty good as it went below the tree line..

I grabbed some video of the landing (but only after the spinning .. I was too fixated on watching that part to shoot)
