The sales pitch was very pushy and the cost was really, really high.

There are leaf gutter control system at HD and Lowes less the cost.
Gutter guards are not effective and don't do the job that they were designed to do. Hinged gutter screens non plastic are better option but not ideal.
Guarantee the drip edge was put on after paper. Now add that to the piles off leafs at the edge= problems

Cheaper to have guy come out and clean it twice a year(Fall/spring) or open system with
unground drainage.

Thanks for the feedback. Seems like a scam considering my "bro price" was $3700 for just over 120' of gutter! Product seemed OK but not for $30 per foot. Mmmmm, surf trip or gutter guards?

I bought a battery operated leaf blower with a long nozzle for this purpose.

Every couple of months, get on the roof- let her rip and blow all that crap out into the yard.

Palerider nails it. Useless if not maintained. Depending on the amount of foliage around, just pay somebody 50 bucks to clean the gutters twice a year, again, depending on foliage.
