I have a retirement plan I need to move, but I'll be damned if it's going anywhere right now, so yes, I agree, an honest Market forum would be helpful.

Cole,
Please review the premises of Three-Card Monte Three-card Monte - also known as Find the Lady and Three-card Trick - is a confidence game in which the victim, or "mark", is tricked into betting a sum of money, on the assumption that they can find the "money card" among three face-down playing cards. It is very similar to the shell game except that cards are used instead of shells.[1] In its full form, Three-card Monte is an example of a classic "short con"[2] in which a shill pretends to conspire with the mark to cheat the dealer, while in fact conspiring with the dealer to cheat the mark. The mark has no chance whatsoever of winning, at any point in the game. In fact, anyone who is observed winning anything in the game can be presumed to be a shill. This confidence trick was already in use by the turn of the 15th century.[ ------------------------- Dora Hates You |

So stock is their only real value? That's a serious question and not a rhetorical one. ------------------------- I was right. |

The company will sell for a billion even though it's technically worthless when it comes to real world profits. Yep, that's taking a bet alright.

The stock market is quite simple really, buy low, sell high.

Get a subscription to Investors Business Daily. Great info and concise. Also a broad based US growth fund or ETF over a 5-10 is a pretty safe bet. Individual stocks are where you can get in trouble.
