Everyone gets an Evansville at some point in their season. They were a 25 point underdog. Still, that's got to be something the Evansville teal will remember for life. But it ain't march just yet and that's when the underdogs run with the big dogs for all the marbles.

NORMAL, Ill. - Trailing for nearly 33 minutes of a 40-minute game, the UCF men's basketball never gave up and fought back from multiple nine-point deficits to defeat Illinois State 67-65 on the road Sunday afternoon at Redbird Arena.

The NCAA is definitely flexing and pushing back in light of recent defeats. I think this kid is caught in the crossfire.

Plenty of blame to go around in James Wiseman saga, and the NBA deserves its share
James Wiseman lasted just three games at the University of Memphis before the top 2020 NBA Draft prospect became embroiled in a legal battle over his NCAA eligibility. In hindsight, it was three games too many.

UCF got 2nd conference win against USF just now. 55-54. UCF improving. But...prob gonna have to go deep in conference tourny for any post season play. Rebuilding year.

I thought the gators complete domination over #4 Auburn was not a fluke. They are going to at least the sweet 16. There. I said it. Now watch them not even qualify.

FSU was looking very strong.

Duke, Kentucky, Louisville all going into February strong.

Then they promptly lose to LSU

BTW .... watch out for LSU, they are all healthy now (for the first time this season) and are rolling.

Although UCF isn't going to get into post season play they did just knock off 1st place Cincinnati in double OT!

A no-name freshman, with a broken nose, scored over 20 points. How UCF won that is beyond me. UCF was a big underdog in this one. Super shorthanded. 2 starters out and only 6 players played. Not a pretty game. Cinci played crappy also.

Surprise Surprise!
