I just got back from visiting my mom in Knoxville. Stayed in Asheville area a few nights and biked around. Knoxville has pretty good biking as well, but need more time up there.

Shot a few vids.

I also biked Dyer Park in West Palm Beach last Monday but no video. That is a really fun park on the side of an old land fill (Mount Trashmore).

Really good up-n-downs on the trash heap and a great all-canopy perimeter loop about 8 miles. I thought Dyer park was great and will be back to bike it again.

I just left Satty and moved to Asheville a couple of months ago. Dupont is amazing and you can't go wrong with the Sierra Nevada and New Belgium breweries, not to mention all the other ones.

Asheville proper seems to be getting over congested. The surrounding smaller mountain towns seem to offer a more relaxed atmosphere with the option of visiting Ashevile if needed. I did visit Sierra Nevada brewery. Amazing place.

I'm a Ridgeline junkie!
Nice to cool off in the waterfalls down the road after.

Did Green's Lick/Ingles Field Gap in Bent Creek too while up there a few weeks ago.
That was hairy at the top!
My girlfriend was pissed haha
The youtube videos looked fun.

Did a Pisgah group ride with the guys at the Hub, another lengthy adrenaline rush that I was happy to survive.

A really fun one on the way up is Jackrabbit.
It's a loop with several optional short loops, one steep climb and decent, some cruisy lakeshore trails, and ends with a super fun flow track with jumps.

If I was solo, I'd camp in the mountains or somewhere near the BBQ joint in brevard, Smoke On.
My girlfriend insists on indoors and close to Asheville for the music scene which is always on point.
The Gray Eagle, Rabbit Rabbit, Orange Peel, Asheville Music Hall, etc
Bent Creek is a quiet spot near the trails and Asheville
We almost always end up at the Universal Joint for a late dinner

The Tuesday night funk jam at the Music Hall was a trip, and downstairs was another band shredding Black Sabbath.
Tuesday!
Same place has open mic jam, was cool as several musicians took turns stepping into an endless jam session.
We saw Dehd at the Grey Eagle and they killed it, really neat 3 piece indie rock band, lead singer/bassist has a sexy yodel, Brian Wilson-ish harmonies. Hope to catch them again in Miami soon. Pixies at Rabbit Rabbit were meh.

My Trek Fuel Ex7 2-year-old birthday is today. I celebrated it with a solo ride at Ft Clinch Florida State Park early this morning.
