Ringo Starr Finally Knighted

As you've no doubt heard, one of the world's great injustices has been overcome.

The greatest wrong in the world of drumming was overturned at the start of the new year when it was announced that Richard Starkey (aka Ringo Starr) would receive his knighthood, becoming the last Beatle to be so honored.

Truly couldnt happen to a nicer guy. Ive had the honor and pleasure of working on 5 or 6 of his all starr shows. Always the perfect gentleman, and always with the best in the business.
He epitomizes the "all you need is love" message in all he does.
Ringooo!

Ringo has great feel, sound and timing. You don't need to be Neil Peart.

Yeah, his drumming was always perfect for the song, kind of like George Harrison's playing, it enhances the song instead of showcasing technical expertise.
