We've had one of these for 25+ years. Works like a champ. Go to the produce stand and buy the "day old" bruised tomatoes. Make real Italian gravy!

Sounds good!

But, we prefer to make our own. We make a "light" marinara type and also a deep, rich, heavy red meat sauce. The key is to braise/fry the meat in the main pot. Then, remove the meat and "fry" the tomato paste in the oils! Then start building the pot back up with meat and tomato, etc.
