I occasionally get blisters from paddling, so I like to wear gloves then. My last pair was waterproof gloves from Bass Pro. These were obviously not paddling gloves because they fell apart after paddling only 5-6 times. Anyone know of good gloves to get? Would regular cold water surfing gloves work? Thanks |

I actually sometimes get a blister on a finger, so needs to be fingerfull. I have used surf wax on the handle and pole sometimes. I found out pretty quickly if you put a lot on, it will kill your hands. So now I put only a little on every once in a while. If I don't put at least a little wax on, the paddle slips around in my hand and I miss waves sometimes. |

The easiest way to stop the blisters is to switch to something that doesn't require a paddle to ride waves.

Go to wetsuit wearhouse.com. They have some very nice cutoff and full fingered watersports gloves for around twenty bucks and up by henderson and their spinoff company hyperflex. Also neosports makes some nice ones. btw: this website is THE place for wetsuits and peripheral gear. period. great folks great service great prices ------------------------- spindrift |
