It's a democratic hoax

Russia is the big nothing burger that the GOP just can't choke down. Plenty of greasy tactics used to get past it but its still here. I find it funny that GOP tunnel vision conspiracy theorists had nothing to work with on Benghazi and championed the cause for years. They got a Senate investigation and saw that their conspiracies must be true because everyone denied them. The GOP senators that sat on that panel and had to admit nothing was there were accused of complicity and DC corruption. They clung to a conspiracy not because of the facts, but despite them and they did so for years.

Now we have a sitting President who likes to meet secretly with the Russians KGB intelligence officer President. The President got up in front of the world as he stood next Putin and told everyone that he believed Putin over literally every person and organization in the US about Russian hacking and interference. Its a fact. Its a very sad fact and it shows just how far the GOP has equated their party with their president. You can try to minimize that. You can overlook all of the other Russian forays into Trump's orbit. You can play three monkeys with all of it. But... You cannot say its nothing because nothing has happened yet. You cannot infer that Mueller would have done something by now and since he has not, he cannot. Mueller knows that the GOP, Fox, Breitbart and every other mouthpiece that echoes Trump's bs will go on the offensive with any truths or lies they can conjure. Mueller knows that this investigation will scrutinized and villainized my many in power, in broadcasting and church's that will see this as merely a cosmopolitan liberal attack with no basis in law or fact. To combat that, Mueller is making it beyond a reasonable doubt even by people who force themselves to doubt any factual criticism of the leader of their tribe.
