There is actually some truth to what he says. Once I was representing a utility on a defective power plant case. On of the issues was a cooling tower that used semi-treated sewage for the coolant. Talked to the guys who worked on the cooling tower and asked them if they got sick often. They said they did at first, but then not at all. But there are studies out there as well to the same effect.
