More than 100,000 Americans each year die of heart attacks, strokes and other illnesses caused by air pollution spewed from factories, motor vehicles and even bucolic-seeming farmland, according to a new report that contradicts an EPA panel whose members downplayed the risks during a public meeting last month.

His administration, with help from Republicans in Congress, has targeted environmental rules it sees as overly burdensome to the fossil fuel industry, including major Obama-era policies aimed at fighting climate change. http://www.nytimes.com/interac...nt-rules-reversed.html ------------------------- I was right. |

Come tpapsmear, your failure to understand a long term connection says more about you than the fact that it's happening.

The numbers tell a different story. Perhaps that's why we use data instead of comparisons.

I am amused by some far right types that are up in arms about the algae blooms in Florida waters but that turn around and cheer for further weakening of EPA oversight of "Waters of the United States". That weakening basically gives the Phosphate mines a green light to do whatever the hell they want, downstream folks be damned. The right wing sportsman here want MOSAIC STOPPED but they vote to gut EPA, DEP, etc... They want LESS REGULATION but they are pissed off that "The State" won't stop construction of a road or development that happens to go through a patch of countryside that they like.

I am amused that progs are screaming like little school girls about things getting worse under Trump but cannot provide any proof. I can be persuaded on this if there is evidence. But I haven't come across any. If something or other was only, 4 ppm under Obama and is now 5 ppm, that should be easy to find. So, let's have it, girls.

What is Trump doing to decrease this risk? That's the point. Here is a real world example. http://www.scientificamerican....lute-waterways/ And then there are Mercury emissions. http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/...sary/ar-BBRxEb9 Fortunately, Trump has little to no understanding of the law, so a great deal of his destructive agenda has been held in check by the courts, but for how long. ------------------------- I was right.
