Back in the day it was called a 25....due to Contender making it in such a was so that it could be fished in specific small craft tournaments.

It's legally and by ANY definition a 28 foot vessel as the entire HULL and BILDGE are 28 feet long.

On it's REGISTRATION it's 28 feet long.

So NO it isn't a 26......it's a 28.

As for fuel capacity it has 3 (THREE) fuel tanks!

It has 1 (ONE) Main tank at 180 (ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY) Gallons and 2 (TWO) Saddle tanks at 45 (FOURTY FIVE) Gallons EACH.

Thats a TOTAL of 270 (TWO HUNDRED SEVENTY) Gallons!

I get 2.3 MPG running at 35MPH (my usual cruising speed).

Thats a range of 621 (SIX HUNDRED TWENTY ONE) miles!
