Folks, when capitalism runs out of natural resources and cheap labor to exploit, it turns on itself. A few powerful people walk away with big bags of cash, and thousands of workers lose their jobs.

-------------------------
Capitalism is based on the ridiculous notion that you can enjoy limitless growth in a closed, finite system.

In biology, such behavior of cells is called "cancer".

The Chinese have done a number on outstanding natural resources. Years ago when i was on the road, I found the Chinese everywhere. LATAM, Africa, Middle East. Surprised me. Now i get it. There's still cheap labor, just less needed due to productivity.

The end game is a global oligarchy, and the masses of the people suffer.

Exactly. Keep bitching about libtards and loving an incompetent president while they pass us by flying both red and yellow flags, see how that works out.

I think the "cheapness" of the labor is relative and somewhat self correcting

Let's do an accounting. What, exactly, have the socialist ever contributed to the world? Let's compare that to what capitalism has provided to the world. To make it easier for progs, let's compare the number of famines in the last 100 years in socialists systems vs. those in capitalist systems. Socialists countries don't come out too well. If you progs want to starve to death, that's fine by me. Indeed, I would encourage it. If you get started on that project and change your minds, I would highly discourage any attempts to get food from my farm.

Lets. Socialism provided for the rapid industrialization of both Russia and China in the last century. Social Democratic countries all have national healthcare systems which are cheaper and more effective than the U.S. for profit system. The refugees who risk their lives art the border are coming from the failed capitalist countries of So Salvador and Honduras. Even Cuba, with 60 years of US blockade, are on the cutting edge of cancer treatment and supply doctors to poor countries worldwide.

If you're rich, then of course you'll praise the system that benefits you personally. But for the majority who fight to survive economically they would be far better under a social economy.
The hell with your farm, we have community gardens.

I rail against exploitation and oppression wherever i see it. Socialism already "happens" here, and i encourage it.

But, your argument generally goes against The Laws of Nature. Mostly, the strong do survive, and the weak do perish. We call it; "the survival of the fittest". It has been that way since time began here on this planet. Ya, ya, it certainly does suck but, to think otherwise is what we call hubris. Humans never seem to "get" that they are not any better than any other thing in this universe. But, it does seem to be rather satisfying to think otherwise.

We do know that everybody is not really "born equal", and as life wears upon us we know that there are those that nature takes advantage of and ends their existence. To think otherwise is insane.

Yep, sure enough, life does suck. But, that is in accordance with the laws of this universe.

Otherwise, everybody should actually be born "equal" in every regard and live as long as they care to.

Definition of "strong" in our society -

The well to do - Not all fit classic definition of "strong" because some came by their wealth through dumb luck or inheritance
Those that society favors - white men, the educated, close families
People that work within the system - hard workers, people that work social safety net (disability, social security, insurance...)
White men that live within 15 minutes of their Mom but not in her basement/trailer
Guys really really good at sports people pay to watch or that advertisers/manufacturers pay to further
Kardashians

I think there another natural law that trumps "survival of the fittest", and that's "strength in numbers".
There are very few animals in nature which exist singularly and in competition with their peers.
Socialism doesn't, and never has, suggested that people are born equal in ability. Recall our cannon is "from each according to his ability, to each according to his need". It's everyone's responsibility to share in the effort, as best they can, and as a member of the community, we care for the disabled. That's the true ethical law of the universe.

Not everyone is ready, but we are evolving as a species.

The hell with your farm, we have community gardens...................................This is why Socialism has bread lines and starvation...................The Idea that everyone will 1st, plant a garden for their food and 2nd that you can grow enough food in your community garden to feed everyone.............................AND... They will control the distribution of the food..............So IF you grow a lot of food, it will be taken from you and distributed to the Socialists.....................Participation is Mandatory
