Trump disputed the idea that if a foreign government provided information on a political opponent, it would be considered interference in our election process.

"It's not an interference, they have information -- I think I'd take it," Trump said.

Somebody comes up and says, 'hey, I have information on your opponent,' do you call the FBI?" Trump responded.

"I'll tell you what, I've seen a lot of things over my life. I don't think in my whole life I've ever called the FBI. In my whole life. You don't call the FBI. You throw somebody out of your office, you do whatever you do," Trump continued. "Oh, give me a break - life doesn't work that way."

China? If you're listening, it's ok for you to hack and give dirt on trump to the democrats.

Or Iran, NK, VZ, Mexico, whomever. He has to be lucky every day. They just have to be lucky once.

Meanwhile Fox's shill, Hannity, is saying this >>>> "...Fox News' Sean Hannity supported President Trump's comments Wednesday that he would be willing to listen to a foreign government if they approached him with information on a political opponent, calling it a "genius setup" by the president. "In many ways that was a genius setup because the media mob will fall right into his trap, breathlessly spewing fake, phony outrage over a nonstory for days," Hannity said during his monologue on "Hannity" on Wednesday night...." https://www.foxnews.com/politi...genius-set-up-for-dems >>>Interesting that the start the story with the words "Fox news' Sean Hannity". He is an entertainment/opinion guy, not a real news guy. But maybe he is a hard core news guy in the Fox universe? I donno, but Shep, Brett, and Mike are probably bummed if he is.

But Russia isn't a business competitor are they. So what you're really saying is,
If the country's greatest enemy calls about about info concerning an AMERICAN GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL, before continuing, contact the FBI, the CIA, and the current president, then set the foe up.

Trump can try to explain it away all he likes, but it is wrong and it is why he shouldn't be elected in 2020.

It's obvious Republicans agree with him or there would have been legislation to stop it. Vote them out.

This is a new low. The trump apologists will justify this and more. Russia has a goal. Had. Present tense. They want to destabilize western democracies. They succeeded because of people like trump. They will continue to succeed when they identify, approach and corrupt with dirt. Then they will extort these people with their acceptance of the dirt.

I wonder how many of his supporters will back him if he makes this attempt.

Alright! Another prog freak out over nothing. Let's say Trump paid a foreigner - a Brit, say - to approach and pay Russian officials for dirt on his opponent, would that be wrong? Hypocritical idiots.
