But the crazier things get, the worse his chances of getting elected, even with the game rigged by EC.
And therein lies the dem strategy. Again, dems/progs are miscalculating badly. The people who care about this are the same fools who believed that Trump was "going down" due to the Russian collusion hoax and Trumjp voters, who will turn out in droves in 2020.

I think there's a hard ceiling on trump supporters. You're not getting any new ones, it's pretty much pegged. But, if people who don't always vote are outraged by the lawlessness and cruelty of this gangster, they represent a massive chunk of the population, but do enough of them live in the redneck states to keep the EC from electing another massive loser of the popular vote. Who knows?

The show must go on! Burn it down.

We are watching Rusty go nuts before our very eyes. We have watched him go from a fairly rational individual to an Antifa-loving socialist who blames the electoral college for all the Dems' woes. TDS is real.

"We are watching Rusty go nuts before our very eyes." such a bull$hit retort. Rusty is obviously eloquent and has views based on processing information from all sources.

Meanwhile sniper gives the disgusting tweeting dumb a$$ in the oval office a pass. He says he doesn't read!

Snippy is the perfect Repug. A mindless dumbschitt, incapable of original thought, who will follow anyone who hates the same people he does, no matter if it's against his, and the country's, best interest.

A quick search on your body of work here at 2L lets everyone know that you are a pretty typical Democrat these days. So much original thought.

The Fox news crowd seems to be particularly butt hurt at the moment. Here is an interesting discovery that has nothing to do with politics whatsoever, but the comments are almost all about politics. It is nuts. https://www.foxnews.com/scienc...-north-america-mummies

Reminder: To this day, the Trump campaign can't explain: 1) Why they had so many Russian contacts; 2) why they were glad to meet them; 3) why they never called the FBI; and 4) why they lied about it every time.

Their answer: "Obama Deep State tapped muh wires." And, "Obama didn't do enough to stop Russian interference" And, "butter emails."

Thanks Green. I have certainly evolved from being a left leaning social democrat into a libertarian/anarcho-socialist, but for me that's the result of my interest in the rising leftist youth movement and more reading of political and economic philosophy. Unlike the binary thinking guys, I think the world is full of nuance, and I'm a big enough guy to change my mind or even admit when I'm wrong.

I have to agree that trump has had a lot to do with the rise of the left though. He should be Antifa recruiter of the year.

I don't know about "blame" for the EC, but it's an undemocratic and archaic system that allows some people's votes to count more than others. I don't like that, and neither should you. Snipe wouldn't like it except it favors his team at this moment in time.

Another element of this story that isn't being discussed is the damage being done to international relations. The Democrats forced Trump to release the transcript of the conversation and the conversation included some things that could damage the relationship between Ukraine and Germany plus several other countries.

If leaders in other countries know that our intelligence communities are leaking information on private conversations, do you think they are going to be more or less likely to speak honestly and freely to our President, regardless of which party they belong to?

That is one of their goals. Then they will turn around and claim that Trump has set back foreign relations by a hundred years.

Well I guess you guys should have thought about that. I didn't see anything in the Ukraine call transcript that was actual state business, it was all about trump, but when the president's a crook you have to gather evidence.

I'm sure Nixon made the same claims about the WH tapes. I'm mean if the president can't commit a crime in his own office what can he do?

The President of Ukraine is a comedian! And he appears much smarter/savvy than twitler on the call log and based on what we know now.

Russia thinking 2015 - "this guy is an idiot let's support him over Hillary Clinton"

China thinking right now - "this guy is an idiot we don't deal with him he's out"

Internal relations?

What, like Barr, Pompeo and Trump asking foreign countries for information against the FBI and CIA?

Stop dude, just stop, you sound like a fool.

. Recent elections since Carter beat Ford, the OUTSIDER has won most every election. Reagan was an unknown Governor beat the President, then beat Mondale, Clinton beat Bush and Dole, Clinton was the Arkansas good ole boy. Bush beat Gore and Kerry, Bush was the good ole boy. Obama beat McCain and Romney, Obama was the outsider. And TRUMP is the ultimate outsider who beat Clinton... The PEOPLE don't want Washington to rule them, they always elect somebody from OUTSIDE the beltline. The People inside the beltline exempt themselves from the laws they require US to follow. Any dumbasses that believes a career Politician is better for the country is out of touch with America. Any dumbass that wants an Impeachment of a President to go forward because you are listening to Politicians inside the beltline are also out-of touch. The News and internets tell you what to believe and how to think and you blindly follow and once again power is taken from the people and sucked into Washington. Don't let the media lead you into allowing the career politicians take the power of the election away from you the people.

Trump broke the law.

Trump has to face his self created consequences.

As far as outsiders? The Bush family was and is an American dynasty. The silver spoon Skull and Bones people are bred to rule. Clinton was a governor. Obama was a Senator.

Which country was better, the one run by politicians - Clinton, Obama - or the one run by Trump?
