As Americans, we should be investigating this.. and as Americans, we should be protecting the whistleblower's identity. Not sure why you are cheerleading and defending a guy and his cronies who have so clearly been involved in shady shit If nothing happened, they will find nothing. As a footnote, it's "aisle" Investigating what? We have the transcript. Trump didn't do anything illegal. The leaker's name is Eric Ciaramella. His identity is out there. He violated Executive privilege. This President, and all those that follow him, regardless of party affiliation need to know that they can have conversations with foreign leaders without having to worry about people like Eric Ciaramella, who worked under the VP of the previous administration, leaking the details of the conversation to the public. If Schiff and his merry band of retards really cared about the whistleblower's identity, they could have done this quietly, as they do with all the other whistleblower complaints. They don't give a Schiff about protecting the whistleblower's identity. Wow! I knew Lyinfishkller was a serious moron but....DANG! He's a complete and total IDIOT! ...OR he's a traitor to this country and wants it's demise. It's one or the other! It's can't be anything else. FACT! ------------------------- The REAL truth is....both of the forum idiots are OWNED. -BOTH of them have no clue who their owner is. -They are both card carrying narcissists. ^These are PROVED facts. Following the Whistleblower protection Act would be a dangerous precedent, not the precedent set by demanding foreign nations "investigate" US citizens (instead of the FBI) in exchange for weapons? Okay

Please show me where the Whistleblower Protection Act guarantees whistleblowers anonymity.
Is Eric Ciaramella even really considered a whistleblower if he is saying that he never even heard the conversation himself? He received a 2nd or 3rd hand account of it. ------------------------- "The government who robs Peter to pay Paul can always depend on the support of Paul," - George Bernard Shaw “Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f—k things up.” - Barack Obama “End of quote. "if he is saying that he never even heard the conversation himself? He received a 2nd or 3rd hand account of it"
so what? If the conversation happened as it was reported it's still a treasonous bull$hit act against a US citizen by the stupidest a-hole we've ever had as President. |

Investigating what? We have the transcript. Trump didn't do anything illegal. It might not be "illegal", but it's sure as Schiff impeachable. Trump used U.S. military aid as leverage to force Ukraine to investigate former vice president Joe Biden and his family. That, in itself, is considered a high crime, to use the Office of the Presidency of the USA to further one's own re-election campaign. ------------------------- GOP: Gaslight Obstruct Project |

^^^ There's your answer. I know Hannity has got you guys all pumped up that Trump's not a crook but... didn't Nixon say the same thing? Here's a hint: Trump is definitely a crook. Most of us on here could see that back in the 80's.. ------------------------- When America was "great" |

There is no stated requirement for anonymity, the requirement is that there be no retaliation, which has been understood to mean that anonymity was the way to ensure that there would be no retaliation. The right to confront your accuser and cross examine them, cornerstones in criminal law, are not implicated in what is considered a civil complaint.

Trump didn't just pull a name out of a hat and say, "please investigate this guy". If the Bidens had not given the appearance of impropriety in the dealings in Ukraine, then they wouldn't have been mentioned.
Why should the Bidens be above the law? How would anyone go about investigating this matter without the assistance of Ukraine? Ukraine has received far more in aid monetarily and militarily from Trump than they ever did from Obama and Biden. They have not been forced to produce a report on Biden. The people telling you to be outraged about this don't care if they make you look stupid in the process as long as they get what they want. ------------------------- "The government who robs Peter to pay Paul can always depend on the support of Paul," - George Bernard Shaw “Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f—k things up.” - Barack Obama “End of quote. How would anyone go about investigating this matter without the assistance of Ukraine? OMG!! How indeed! If the USA only had some kind of intelligence agency (that were centrally located) that had the ability to investigate things like this... I guess we will never know, since Drumpf is the ONLY one smrt enuff to be able to sniff these things out. Because, as he said, he's smarter than all the generals, and obviously he's just a stable genius... ------------------------- GOP: Gaslight Obstruct Project |

It was Biden's fault for giving the appearance of impropriety? Got it. Have you seen Trump's "divestment" of his assets into a trust where he is the sole beneficiary? But that doesn't bother you. Or how about how there was no investigation into Biden when he was there, he left, there was still no investigation or allegation of anything more than getting a well paid job simply to dress up Burisma's international credentials, and no allegation that there was any crime committed. So Trump went through official channels to ferret out this wrong. No wait. He created a shadow state department with a free lawyer who is more hungry for fame and notoriety than he is and they found nothing so they asked the newly elected president Zelensky to create something so they could use the allegation in the election even if they couldn't actually prove anything. In the meantime, the Ambassador was not pleased so a Ukraine Oligarch with Russian loyalties gives two clowns hundreds of thousands of dollars to grease his marijuana interests as well as political clout to Rudy, Rudy got her fired, the President "lost confidence, period" in her and then he asked for a favor, though.
That about cover "nothing wrong?" ------------------------- "One of the reasons why propaganda tries to get you to hate government is because it's the one existing institution in which people can participate to some extent and constrain tyrannical unaccountable power." Noam Chomsky. |

And you wonder why the hearings were conducted behind closed doors? To prevent people from lying. News flash: Sondland caught lying, comes back and ADMITS there was a stated goal for withhold the congressionally approved aid until Zelensky looked into Hunter Biden and crowdspace. But he remains steadfast that there was no quid pro quo. Busted. He's had to "amend" his previous "account" now that the other witnesses have corroborated and substantiated the details he misremembered the first time he was under oath. It's just so secret that they couldn't lie about it. They lied anyway. Now they are busted. Looks like the "process" they found so unfair actually accomplished the goal of preventing perjury and witness collaboration. Now it's available. Does anyone still think this was unfair?

Twitler supporters as obtuse as the Donald at a book club meeting.
The smoking gun? Twitler directed the Ukraine to work with non other than that sack Giuliani who does not work for the United States! WHy wouldn't he direct them to work with any one of our amazing intelligence agencies? Twitler made a bull$hit request to a foreign Government to spy/dig dirt on an American citizen. |
